Beginning June 1, 2009, U.S. Citizens require a passport, enhanced driver's license or other accepted document to re-enter the USA at any border crossing. Until then - USA and Canadian citizens ages 19 and older will need to present a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license, along with proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate or naturalization certificate. (the Passport requirement will come in effect on June 1, 2009).
