Everything you need to know about your Whirlpool Jet adventure
We ask you to arrive at our location 45 minutes in advance of your departure time to register, sign a participation agreement and attend a mandatory safety orientation. Please leave plenty of time to find the Whirlpool Jet location you are reserved for. Traffic during busy months can be quite heavy.
When you arrive please fill out a participation form, one per member of your group. Anyone under the age of 18 must have an adult to sign for them to ride the boat. Guests aged 16 and 17 are able to ride without adult accompaniment, but must have a parent or guardian present to sign their participation form. If you want to complete your participation agreements prior to your arrival, you can print them here
Please note that our tour is not recommended for anyone with back, neck, heart, respiratory issues or osteoporosis or any other injuries. Pregnant women are not permitted to participate.
After signing participation forms all guests must attend a mandatory safety orientation which briefly explains the route, gear, boat, and safety information.
At the dock all guests will receive gear ponchos, water shoes and life jackets are always available for guests. Depending on the temperature more gear may be available and mandatory for guests to wear on the boat.
There are free changing rooms, lockers for valuables, and places to store change of clothes and towels at all locations. We recommend that all guests riding the Wet Jet Tour bring a full change of clothes! We will provide foot wear and any other required gear as well as lockers for valuables at no additional cost to you.
You will spend 45 minutes or 1 hour (depending on departure point) learning about the history and geology of the majestic Niagara River, and experiencing the excitement of playing in class 5 whitewater rapids. We don't want to give away too much about the trip, but we can assure you that it will be one of the most refreshing and memorable experiences of your visit to Niagara Falls!
