• You will absolutely get soaked, so bring a change of clothes. 
• Passengers must be at least 44 inches tall (avg. 6 yr old).
• All guests must be on site 45 minutes prior to your departure time.
• Passengers under the age of 16 must travel with someone 18 or older.
• We do not reserve specific seats for any WetJet departure.
• Passengers are allowed to bring a hat, glasses & water proof cameras. There is minimal storage on the jet boats.

Passengers are provided with all the necessary gear to keep you as comfortable as possible, in no way shape or form will the gear keep you from getting absolutely soaked. Passengers will receive a certified life jacket and a set of aqua socks (you can wear your own shoes or sandals as long as the sandals have a strap that wraps around your ankle). As the weather dictates, we will provide everyone with a sweater, a  splash suit and a poncho; we have sizes that fit almost all types and ages.

You can commemorate your WetJet experience with an HD video featuring the highlights of your jet boating adventure. On every trip, WJBT will take a photo or your group as well as fantastic video clips. Don't forget to head to the River Shop after your tour to view your video and photos, and our exclusive Whirlpool Jet apparel.

The JET DOME Tour

Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours introduced the futuristic looking Jet Dome in 2000. Although currently only departing from Canada, the Jet Dome can be reserved for groups of 15 or more out of Lewiston, NY. The Jet Dome Tour:

• Departs from Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON in the shoulder seasons.
• Departs from the Whirlpool Aero Car (Niagara Falls, ON) in peak season.
• All guests must be on site 45 minutes before your departure time.
• Passengers on the Dome must be at least 40 inches tall (avg. 4 yr old).
• Maximum seated capacity is 40 passengers.
• Passengers under the age of 16 must travel with an adult over the age of 18.

The Jet Dome has pneumatic doors that open up on both sides of the boat during the tour that presents unprecedented views of the Niagara Gorge, the power plants and the Whirlpool.  When going through the Class Five whitewater, we close the doors to ensure everyone stays dry. On the tour we do provide you with a head set to listen comfortably to your river guide commentating on points of interest, the geography, history and scenery of the Gorge, the mechanics of the jet dome, and the nuances of the mighty Niagara River.
