"We offer two different complimentary educational programs suitable for grades 6-12 with a paid reservation on Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours (WJBT). The first of our two programs is "Niagara's Raging Rapids". Once enrolled in this program, teachers are provided with student workbooks and a Discovery Channel video (which was actually filmed using our unique Jet Boats) prior to the trip. Students are then able to identify the geographical and historical significance of Niagara Falls and its river prior to embarking on their trip and apply that learning first hand.
Our second educational program is the "Business Education Program". Upon arrival at WJBT, students are escorted to the Local Chamber of Commerce. Together with the Chamber President, a local Bank representative, and the President of WJBT, students learn about being entrepreneurial, banking issues relevant to their age group, and the benefit and importance of belonging to business related organizations before partaking in the tour. Special pricing is available during the spring and fall season.
This program is coordinated on specific days during our season. Available April/May/June and September/October. Due to high interest levels for this program we have limited our presentations to specific days. Lewiston New York programs are run on consecutive Thursdays during the spring and fall. Niagara on the Lake programs are run on consecutive Fridays during the spring and fall.
NOTE: We have a capacity in the number of students we can accommodate for this program. Please book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
